Advocacy Chair About the CommitteeThe Vice President for Legislation shall be responsible for Alaska PTA advocacy efforts and shall oversee the Legislative Committee. The committee shall be guided by the Second Vice President for Legislative Affairs and the Legislative Advocacy Committee.
The Legislative Advocacy Committee is appointed by the President with the recommendation of the Second Vice President for Legislation. Members of this committee must be PTA members, but not necessarily members of the Board of Managers. The Legislative Advocacy Committee is responsible for the legislative program, resolutions and other tasks as assigned by the Second Vice President for Legislation. |
